Statement of Faith

1

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God and the final written revelation of God to man. We believe the Scriptures are the highest authority over all the affairs of human life.

2

We believe in the One True living God, who exists eternally in three distinct Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in divinity, power and glory. The Triune God created all things, gives life to all things, upholds all things and, at the appointed time, shall judge all things.

3

We believe The Lord Jesus Christ is God manifest in human flesh, the perfect revelation of God The Father, and the only way to The Father. Jesus is the promised Messiah who fulfilled over 60 Old Testament prophecies, and who is the sole hope for salvation. History attests that Jesus was born of a virgin, He led a sinless life, performed great miracles that proved His teachings true, He died on the cross for the sins of the whole world, was buried, and rose again physically, as seen by many witnesses, and that He ascended into Heaven to sit at the right hand of The Father.

4

We believe in the pre-Tribulation rapture of the true Church, preceded immediately by the bodily resurrection of “the dead in Christ”, all of whom will meet Christ in the air at His pre-millennial appearance. Following the rapture of the Church, there will be the 7 year “Tribulation ”, a period of unprecedented horror on earth under the free reign of the Anti-Christ, as prophesied by Daniel.

5

We believe in the second coming of the Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ, when He will return with His bride, the Church, to establish His righteous rule and kingdom over the earth for 1000 years, reigning upon the throne of David in Jerusalem.”

6

We believe in the Person of God the Holy Spirit, who possesses all the attributes of deity, and who was sent by the Father and the Son to convict every individual of sin, unrighteousness, and the coming judgment. Regeneration by The Holy Spirit is essential for salvation, and will bring about a genuine personal repentance and transformation.

7

We believe The Holy Spirit indwells every believer in The Lord Jesus Christ, sealing them forever, and that all of His gifts are necessary and available to His church today, for the overcoming of the power of sin, and to provide power for service.

8

We believe that all humanity is born with a sinful nature, knowing and wanting to do good, but unable to overcome temptation, selfishness and rebellion. With repentance of sin, salvation is found in Jesus alone, by faith alone, by grace alone, and not by any human merit or works. For those who refuse this grace of God, there remains only the just wrath of God.

9

We believe in the spiritual unity of all genuine believers, the universal Church, of which the Lord Jesus is the head. We believe in the two prescribed ordinances: water baptism and The Lord’s Supper.

10

We believe that the nation of Israel has a unique place in God’s plan, and that all of His promises to her will be fulfilled in Jesus’ millennial earthly Kingdom. We believe the Church has the duty to sustain Israel, and that the Gospel is to the Jew first.

11

We believe in the “The Nicene Creed” and its abbreviated form, “The Apostles’ Creed”.
